Description

Spend a week in a newly renovated Spanish Colonial Villa from the XVII Century in Historic World Heritage Mompox with huge patios and views over the Magdalena River. Sleeps 10 people.

This XVII Century Spanish Colonial house is at the heart of the old City of Mompox. It´s a one-of-a kind property with unique features such as 25 feet ceilings, three outdoor patios, old crafts in windows and original tiles in floors. While respecting its colonial style and ¨old world¨ flavor, the house has recently been totally restored making it very comfortable with air conditioning, swimming pool in one of the patios, satellite TV, etc.

The old City of Mompox has been assessed as one of the World Heritages by the United Nations. It boasts impressive colonial architecture, cathedral, churches, convents, palaces etc. Mompox is well known for its amazing crafts, particularly in filigrane gold and silver.

Mompox is located 180 miles from International Airport of Cartagena, surrounded by beautiful scenery, lakes, lagoons, river island and wild life. It´s precisely this rare combination of artistic architecture framed by wild nature that makes this location a unique spot in the world.

Meals are not included but cooking can be provided if requested for a price. A credit card will need to be available before hand in case of damages; if there are no damages after use of the property, your card will not be charged.

This offer is good until Sept. 2011. Stay depends on availabilty, it is recommended to call as soon as you can. Must make reservation at least a month in advance.
