Description

A Floating World: More People, Places, and Pastimes of the Thousand Islands by Paul Malo. This third volume in the author’s series recalls development of the Thousand Islands as a summer resort and social colony.

A Floating World is a sequel to Fools' Paradise, forming a trilogy with Boldt Castle. Hundreds of historic photographs illustrate a conversational narrative and historical articles, bringing vividly to life a vanished way of life. Paul Malo is professor emeritus of architecture at Syracuse University.

This is a Live Event Item.
