Mr. Shenkman can share his perspective on Angels, based not only on the filming of Mike Nichols’ HBO version -- working with Al Pacino, Meryl Streep and others -- but upon his experience acting in an early workshop production, where he worked closely with writer Tony Kushner, and his long run in the San Francisco production.
