Rare Magazine presenting the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Martin Luther King, Jr. 83 pages and in fine condition. The award was made by Jimmy Carter at The White House on July 11, 1977, and this is the magazine commemorating the award. Carter's introductory remarks read, in part: "Martin Luther King, Jr. was the conscience of his generation....His life informed us, his dreams sustain us yet."

Also included in this auction is a beautiful poster reprinting Dr. King's "I Have a Dream Speech". The poster, issued in 1970, has a drawn portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. at the top and mention of his 1964 Nobel Peace Prize at the bottom. Along the sides, landmarks in the life and career of Dr. King are noted. An extremely scarce poster, in excellent condition and suitable for framing.
