In August 2007, Oven Artisans purchased Orwasher's Bakery on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The century-old shop and bakery quickly inspired a new line of modern, artisan breads.

Today, Orwasher's Bakery carries classic and artisan breads, as well as cookies, cupcakes, pies, specialty cakes and pastries.

The Oven Artisans team of master bakers blend original starters with natural ingredients, hand shaping dozens of classic and modern breads every day. All are baked to perfection in the bakery's ancient brick oven.
