Besides creating the renowned Madeline children's books, artist and illustrator Ludwig Bemelmans is remembered for whimsical murals of NYC that grace what is now known as Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel. At its signature Madeline Tea Party, adults and children alike will enjoy classic tea fare--sandwiches, baked goods, and of course the hot liquid itself--as well as the kid-friendly musical artistry of pianist Tina De Varon.
