Hematite can be scratched and scraped so it is important to store it in a protective container when not in use. To clean, rinse in water and then blow dry with a high heat. This will make it hot to touch so be sure you allow it to cool before wearing. It is always important to dry it well after cleaning as it can rust if left damp.
