Very detailed figures of the Neapolitan Nativity Sets were sold at Neiman Marcus stores during the 1990's. The figures are constructed out of high quality resin. This collection is now retired.

Figures are dressed in fabric and all of the features are clear and sharp with great detail, evoking the style of the fine nativity figures produced in Naples during the 18th and 19th centuries. 

While the set has been used, it is in great condition, no damage, no fading and no cracks or chips, and all figures are in original Dept 56 boxes with form fitted individual compartments for safe storage and shipping, except the Palm Tree and Elephant.  

The figure of Jesus can be removed from the manger he lies in, so the other figures can be set up and the Christ child not added until Christmas Eve. Celebrate your faith with this lovely depiction of the first Christmas.

Neapolitan Camel with Packs --measures 12-1/2" tall and 16" Long.

One large African Elephant with one of the three kings bringing his gift in celebrating the birth of Christ—30” in length and approximately 22” high with the rider permanently attached to the elephant and weighs approximately 30 pounds. The rider is permanently attached; the elephant is decorated with fine tapestry fabric; art glass beads tiny metal bells and metal beads; glass eyes and gold thread highlighting.  The elephant is in full stride and has the pose of being in motion. The rider is adorned in fine fabric and has great detail.
