This rare signed copy of the 1966 Proud Heritage of Cleveland Heights by Mary Emma Harris and Ruth Mills Robinson, can be yours on November 21.
Commissioned by The Women's Civic Club of Cleveland Heights, an organization begun in 1917, the book is filled with descriptions of Cleveland Heights history and people from its early beginnings as an Indian settlement through to its growth as a thriving city of 60,000 in 1966.
Includes invitation by The Severance Merchants Association to "A Tea and Reception" at Higbee's in November to celebrate its publication. Not to be outdone, a newspaper clipping cites the Halle Bros. authors reception at Severance in December.
