Think Global. Map Local!

The FutureHeights Open Green Mapping Project is a fun way for children and residents to learn about the fabric of their community and to contribute to mapping a more sustainable future.

What goes on the map? Sustainable Living, Nature, Culture and Society. Green businesses, parks, bike trails, community gardens, public art, recycling efforts, solar homes, and more.

The online map was launched during Sustainability Week in October. It is part of a global effort of communities around the world to chart their sustainable resources.

We hope to take the project into the schools and neighborhoods in the coming year. If you are an educator and would like to create a mapping project with your students please give us a call.
