FutureHeights believes all citizens can contribute energy, ideas, and action to building a better community and we work to provide tools to make this a reality.

FutureHeights sponsors community workshops to teach people how to participate in using, and producing, their community newspaper, the Heights Observer.

Each workshop, taught by local media professionals, is designed to teach different citizen journalist skills:  Basic Story Writing, News Photography, Editing A Story, and more.

The classes help the Heights Observer reach out into our neighborhoods to encourage people to get involved and to participate in making their town a better place to live.
