This mantel clock was built in the 1920s and is as popular now as it was then. The finish on the case is original, but the brass movement has been cleaned, oiled, and adjusted. The movement is marked 89, a very dependable and rugged combination of gears and pinions. The chimes are sounded on two brass coils of different tones. The half hour has one chime and the hour chime is counted using two different tones.
