Four hours of private or group lessons with local brass teacher, Dale Long.

Dale has a Bachelor of Music Education from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam) and a Master of Music (applied low brass) from Northwestern University.  He is also a 1975 graduate of South Burlington High School.  Dale played euphonium and trombone for the US Air Force Band of the West from 1981 to 1985, appearing as a featured soloist on six band tours and at the 1983 Texas Bandmasters Association before leaving the band to pursue a career as an Air Force officer.  However, he remained active as a soloist, clinician, and adjudicator in various places in the United States and Great Britain and was a Willson Brass Performing Artist on euphonium for 15 years.  After retiring from the Air Force in 2001, Dale returned home to Vermont and currently plays with the Vermont Winds, Vermont Philharmonic, Green Mountain Brass Band and Williston Town Band and has taught private lessons in the Burlington area for the last eight years.
