Stuart Carter studied at Ohio Wesleyan University (B. Music Performance) and Eastman School of Music (M. Trombone & Music Education). He has now taught for many years, privately and in schools. Currently, he is teaching brass to students at his home studio, Saint Michael's College, Crossett Brook Middle School, and Harwood Union High School in Waterbury, Vermont.
