David Tanzer and Lori Bottom, parents of VYO violinist Samantha, will take two people for a one hour private hot-air balloon ride.  We generally fly between April and October, and flights begin shortly after sunrise or approximately two hours before sunset when the winds are most calm.  Our flights usually originate from our home in Charlotte, but we sometimes launch from another nearby location as dictated by wind and weather conditions.  Our flights last for approximately one hour, and you and your guest will be the only passengers onboard.  Depending on the day, we might spend much of the flight at treetop level, or fly as high as 3,000 feet (or both).  We will schedule the flight at a time mutually convenient to you, the pilot, and the crew. After the flight, we will return to our home and celebrate with a nice bottle of champagne or sparkling cider, as you prefer.  We might also get Sammi to play for us as we toast our adventure.
