2002 Hanzell Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir, Sonoma Valley 2 SIGNED BOTTLES
With deep historical roots in Sonoma, Hanzell is a California wine standard. A 6-acre vineyard was planted in 1953, and the first vintage was released in 1957. This small plot is now the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard in the US, though the total vineyard has grown over the years to cover 42 acres today. Producing just the Burgundian varietals Chardonnay (75%) and Pinot Noir (25%), Hanzell has earned and maintained accolades for quality and longevity.
This package also includes dinner for 2 at Saffron Restaurant. Saffron is tucked away in a charming corner of the hamlet of Glen Ellen in the heart of the Sonma Valley. Chef Christopher Dever and artist Sandie Nalezny offer fine dining in a relaxed and sensuous setting for their loyal, local following and scores of wine country visitors. The menu of California fusion cuisine constantly evolves, with the only constant being Chris's centerpiece dish, Paella.
