Jennifer Chellis Taveras is an acupuncturist and herbalist at Lyt, a holistic healing center in New York City. She has been in private practice since 2000. In her work Jennifer employs Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Diagnosis, Chakra Balancing and Legge Method allergy treatments. She has also taken post-graduate coursework in Craniosacral Therapy and frequently integrates it into her practice of Chinese Medicine. In addition to her private practice, Jennifer has also worked with homeless teenagers at the Streetwork Project, a drop-in center in New York City in their Wellness Program offering a variety of Chinese treatments including acupuncture and moxa therapy.
