Birds of “Green” Feathers Flock Together If every household in the U.S. reused a paper grocery bag for one shopping tripor art project, about 60,000 trees would be saved.  Thus, our little artists learned why it’s so important to reuse paper and various things we already have for all sorts of purposes, including making pieces of art.

Mr. Weiss’s third grade class has been busy creating a piece of art consisting of “green” materials – that is the majority of materials were either recycled or reclaimed.  The frame is made from reclaimed barn wood, the collage printed on the back of Whole Foods grocery bags, and the rest of the materials are leftover from previous art projects.
