Special Instructions
Hubert M. Collet was born and raised in France. Surrounded by the artistic heritage of his native country, he developed an interest in drawing and painting. Collet attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts where he received numerous awards. He and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1963. He was a French teacher and later became the director of a language school while continuing his hobby of painting. Collet has his own studio and paints mostly oils on canvas. Collet's collection reflects his love of travel with inspiration coming from trips to Europe, Africa, Latin America as well as his adopted home in Cincinnati.
