Description

If you can say "SHALOM" aloud but you wouldn't recognize it if you passed it on a crowded page or if you think the "alef bet" is a special casino game then this is the class for you!

Woodlands Community Temple Educator Harriet Levine has generously offered to teach six, hour-long private lessons to a beginning adult student.  Anyone who has studied with her would tell you that learning Hebrew with Harriet isn't just learning Hebrew, it's learning about Judaism as well.  She takes a spoon full of sugar, and mixes it with a patient, passionate and caring teaching style.  It's a recipe that has her students speaking prayers, chanting Torah and feeling evermore confident in their language skills.

Bid on this item, and learn from the best; a teacher who herself learned Hebrew as an adult.

Thank you Harriet Levine for adding this wonderful opportunity to our auction event.

Harriet Levine was born and educated in Spring Valley, New York.  She attended Cortland State Teachers College (SUNY Cortland) and was graduated from New York University School of Education with a Bachelor of Science in Education. For several years, she taught in public school systems in New York, Maryland, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, as her husband’s work required that the family relocate.
