Description
Want to go ice fishing but don't know how to do it? Treat your family to a morning ice fishing on Somes Pond with Brian Cote. Brian has been ice fishing for 36 years - he'll teach you the basics and then some, starting by drilling a hole by hand (chisel), sounding the hole for depth, baiting the lines ... then hopefully catching some fish. The pond is home to pickerel, smallmouth bass, landlocked salmon and sea run alewife.
Special Instructions
This is a private trip limited to 5 - 6 participants. Brian will provide ice fishing gear.
Date and time to be mutually agreed upon by both parties - limited to mornings (between 8AM and noon) on a weekend or during school vacation weeks - only when the ice is solid. Participants to provide own transportation to Somes Pond.
