This gorgeous hand-carved cane, by Larry Wolterstorff, is really something very unique and special.

The hawk's head is carved from Arizona Black Walnut that was salvaged from the Cherry Creek burn area after the fire.

The eyes are black glass.  The turquoise inlay area of the beak was used to fill a blemish in the wood, and also used on the top of the head to fill in natural blemishes.

The shaft of the cane is Black Walnut from Iowa.  The cane is signed and numbered by the artist's hand.

The artist is a member of the National Cane Club, and a Certificate of Registration comes with the cane to be registered in the winner's name.
