This unique painting is of somewhat uncertain provenance, and is a genuine antique.  It almost appears to be a painting on glass. 

It depicts a young woman walking on a path near a building.  She carries a worn book and flowers, and her eyes pensively gazing into an unseen distance.  Her outer dress is a stunning blue velvet, and her appointments and grooming indicate that she is someone very special.  

This romantic and fascinating piece will add much character and depth to any room.
