Description

Fred Deusch of North Providence, RI had to take this picture. He's enjoyed a lifelong love affair with both photography and wheeled vehicles.

This photo, End of the Line, was taken at a northern New England trolley museum. It depicts the kind of streetcar that used to run in Greater Providence until trolley service was discontinued a few years after the end of World War II.

If you’re old enough, you may remember them tearing up the tracks during the Leave it to Beaver era! Trolley service may be gone, but its memory lives on in museums and fine photographs like this one.
