The works of Rhode Island artist and gallery owner Lee Chabot have been exhibited throughout the United States as well as in Italy, and in this piece, Tuscan Countryside,  he captures the breathtaking essence of Italy's romantic region of Tuscany.

The first thing that captures your attention when viewing Lee's work is his approach to perspective, diving deep into the picture plane, offering spacious views of the scenery, or dancing around your point of view, concurrently providing multiple perspectives. He also displays a wonderful sense for color, employing an exuberant palette that is bright and charming, and his brushwork adds particular vitality to every image.

This month, Lee Chabot’s art is being featured in a show titled “The Rhythm of Color” at The Agora Gallery in New York City. And of course, there's always a large selection of his work on display at the Chabot Fine Art Gallery on Providence's Federal Hill.
