Prolific English artist Edmund Thomas Parris may be best known for his oils celebrating British royalty, but he worked in a number of genres and media. This late-19th-Century rotogravure print depicts his illustration of "Hope" -- which, incidentally is Rhode Island's motto! This mint-condition piece was donated by Stephan and Julia Brigidi of the Bristol Workshops in Photography, Bristol, RI. It measures 7 ¼" x 4 3/8" and is matted in museum board. Overall dimensions are 14" x 11" in a silver wood frame
