This painting was created by Raphael Diaz of Warwick, RI. His works are collected and shown internationally, including at the Mapfre Gallery in Spain and the Galeria de Arte Ryoichi Jinnai of Lima, Peru. An educator, Raphael was drawn to painting as an only child living with his mother in the Projects in New York because art allowed him to create a world of extended family relationships for himself.
