Bill Krul operates the Bill Krul Gallery (formerly the Back Yard Gallery) in Narragansett, RI.

Bill enjoyed a career teaching and researching in the Department of Plant Science at the University of Rhode Island. A lifelong, passionate photographer who has always been close to Nature, Bill has been able to realize his dream of preserving the beauty of our world with a camera since his retirement.

Bill photographs what he knows best, and Silence is Golden is a perfect example: It was shot at Great Island in Narragansett and demonstrates how Bill's photographic art pays homage to the local environment.
