Artist Lawrence Bloomberg of West Warwick, RI draws inspiration from the city and the sea. So it's no wonder that's he's drawn to depict a coastal city like Providence - and especially the city's signature event Waterfire - in his work.

Larry studied art for two years at the University of Bridgeport before undertaking independent studies, including teaching himself silkscreening techniques.
