This arresting watercolor is Island Storm and it's by artist C.C. Wolf of Pawtucket, RI.

C.C. Wolf studied at the Art Students' League and Hunter College in New York before earning a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Before settling in New England in the 1970s she lived, taught and exhibited her art in Florence, Italy. Her work hangs in several major collections, she has exhibited worldwide, and she chairs the artists group 19 on Paper, and is teacher/president at Providence's East Side Art Center.
