The full name of this original watercolor is Pot of Tulips, Taken From Their Bamboo Table. It's by Joanne Burdick of Wellfleet, MA. She's part of a family with many members known for creating fine art.

Joanne Maaloe Burdick was born and raised in New York.  She received her BA from Bard College and was studying at the Art Students League of New York when she met her husband Charles. They settled in Wellfleet in 1966.

Joanne joined the Cape Cod Printmakers, exhibiting her monoprints, collographs and woodcuts. Now she works in watercolor, painting still lifes and landscapes, plein-air, of the Outer Cape.

Joanne is represented by the Burdick Art Gallery in Wellfleet.
