Turn your key ring into a piece of art! This Key Pendant is decorated with a Delft tile created by Joanne Gigliotti.
Special Instructions
Joanne Gigliotti has been involved in artistic process throughout her life, but the largest body of her work has been created in the medium of Batik Painting. Having used this resist method of painting working on linen and silk, then on rag board, she now batiks individual ceramic, glass, for tile murals. This key pendant is made with those batik tiles.
Joanne is represented in permanent collections including The National Museum for Women in the Arts, McCormick Collection, Westinghouse Collection, and The London Library.Formerly director of The Smithsonian Associate’s Studio Arts Department, she has shown work in over seventy one-person and juried exhibitions across the United States.
Currently she is painting, exhibiting her work, and creating jewelry based on her tile designs. Joanne teaches yearly master classes for artists, and works in art services. Her participation in the visual arts includes volunteer mentoring young and emerging artists, and participation in the Artists in Hospitals Program.
