Known as The Memphis Reed Riders,Gene Finney and Jim Watkins have been making music together for over 35 years.
A mutual love of the unique sound of the lowly harmonica brought them together and launched a life-long friendship. Jim plays the chromatic lead harmonica accompanied by Gene on his 24-inch-long chord harmonica.
Their goal has been to demonstrate the beauty and versatility of the harmonica and to gain the respect they believe it deserves as a legitimate musical instrument.
Special Instructions
This one hour performance must be scheduled by November 6, 2011. Date, place and time of performance must be scheduled at least 2 weeks prior to the performance at a time agreeable for both parties.
