Artist Biography-Deanna Mullins
From painting custom kitchen tiles to life-size fiberglass horses to full scale murals, Deanna Mullins paints her whimsical, brightly-colored designs on projects large and small. Painting and drawing since high school, Deanna returned to her first love professionally in 2008 and has quickly become a collected southern artist. She was recently invited by The Memphis and Shelby County Music Commission to show her music themed-works during the opening reception of “Jam Session-Jazz Ambassadors Embrace the World”. Her work was shown by Lisa French Interiors at the Vesta Home Show in 2008. She was also one of 21 artists selected for the Germantown Charity Horse Show 60th Anniversary Celebration “The Horses are Coming”. Her work is held in collections throughout Memphis, Germantown, Nashville, Houston, and Olive Branch, MS. Her favorite media is acrylic on canvas. She also enjoys working in collage, sculpture and mixed media. Deanna participates in several charitable fundraisers and festivals each year and considers this her greatest gift to be able to give back to her community doing work that she loves. Deanna is a self-taught artist.
