It all starts with a simple piece of clay... with several points of impact, slamming the clay down on a hard surface, as if you will wake this indifferent mobile mass, as if you will get the clay’s attention. But the clay has a secret, the attention will be obtained from you... the maker, the potter. Another point of impact, of particular interest to me, occurs with a loaded brush. You approach the waiting vessel with a brush dripping with pigment and without pause, start the dance of line and rhythm... at last; you have caught the attention of the clay. The movements of the potter and the clay have become one gesture. The pot joins others for the final impact, inside the kiln... let the dance begin! Visual music you can share and touch.
