Special Instructions
Joey Evangelisti has a special gift – that of an artist. Through his autistic eyes and hands he creates detailed or colorful or just beautiful pieces that have been compared to Peter Max among others.
He is an emerging artist whose Exhibits have sold out and raised hundreds of dollars for charity. Of note was his participation in the Autism Society of America Mid-South Chapter Art Show 2009 and the White Station High School Art Show 2009. Also impressive was selection as the invitation cover artist for the statewide “Art Through the Eyes of Autism” exhibit in Nashville, TN 2002. He is a Mid-South Fair Ribbon Winner and has been featured in the Commercial Appeal Newspaper.
