The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America was founded in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. It all began because of the simple dream of a boy named Chris. A small group of people helped this very ill little boy achieve his wish - to be a state trooper for a day.
To date, the Foundation has granted more than 153,000 wishes worldwide.
This is a unique opportunity to spend time at the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Louisville, KY and learn how dreams come true. You will interact with Wish Program Staff, the Development Team, the Executive Director, Daniel Koett and their Board Chair and Volunteers.
