Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT) is a health-care profession in which intervention and treatment is provided to individuals from infancy to adolescents.
Occupational Therapy is a form of intervention in which the therapist and child work together to develop or improve the necessary skills for daily living through activity and "play"-the child's main "occupation."
Occupational Therapy can target skills needed for coordination, school readiness and performance, self-care help such as self-feeding, dressing and grooming, focus and attention, play/social interaction, hand-eye coordination, regulatory behaviors, and more.
This item is for a two-hour job shadowing experience. You can meet in their Shelbyville, KY office or at All About Kids, 2531 Blakenbaker Pkwy. Louisville, KY
Special Instructions
Children must be 12 years of age or older to participate. A chaperone is recommended for children between the ages of 12-18. Adults may bid. This job shadowing experience is good through January 1, 2012.
