Description

Join Cuyahoga Valley National Park volunteer Andrea Irland, an expert in Great Blue Herons, to learn about nesting behavior and help gather information about the population in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  On an April or May 2011 weekday morning, a group of up to 5 people will get a 2-3 hour bird’s eye experience with spotting scopes and binoculars. You will witness the nesting lifestyle and behaviors within a heronry, and catch a glimpse of heron chicks while an expert volunteer explain what you are seeing.
