Mrs. Coombes' Class Art Bookshelf

Item Number: 162
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
The creative and whimsical characters on this quality bookshelf were created by the 1st and 2nd graders in Mrs. Coombes' class. The art was inspired by Joan Miro, a Spanish Artist, who paved the way for modern abstract artists of today. The children learned about Miro during Art Literacy classes that are sponsored by the proceeds of this auction. Each student colored characters using Miro's abstract style. The characters were applied to the bookshelf using decoupage. The bookshelf was sprayed with an acid free gloss finish and measures 34" tall, 27 1/2" wide and 11 1/2" deep. This would be a stunning addition to your childs room, playroom or any room in your home.
