Description

This beautiful art piece was a collaborative project where students created the entire piece.  From its inception to the amazing completed project the children worked together and then, with nationally published illustrator Kaaren Pixen, to place their creatures on the 3' X 5' canvas. The children painted random designs and colors onto square pieces of Tyvek, a brand of house wrap used in home construction.  They then cut out pieces, sharing all of the designs and colors, to make the sea creatures. Every child made at least one of the creatures and some children made several.  Each child then painted a stripe of color to create the watery background. The piece was then covered in golden gel to give it it's beautiful sheen...don't you wonder what is in the treasure chest?

This is a Live Event Item.
