About the Artist:    Kirk is a self-taught artist. He took to art as soon as he was able to hold a crayon. Throughout childhood, Kirk developed an appreciation for his majestic surroundings in Hawaii. He would often sit in trees for hours with pastels and pad, or sit in a meadow with watercolor and canvas. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Kirk's life would be centered upon his passion for art. After high school, Kirk attended art school where he discovered painting.

Kirk is now a professional artist full-time. He lives in Portland, Oregon and works around that area.
