Eilis and Dustin McNamara-Olde opened Lube and Latte to provide a safe haven for those who felt uncomfortable getting their car repaired. They couldn't figure out why anybody should have to be subjected to stale coffee and daytime television while they waited. So, nearly three years ago, they hatched a plan: they would open a shop and see if they could change the way people were treated. No more taking advantage of those unfortunate enough not to know anything about cars. No greasy plastic chairs and no boring waiting rooms. Dustin learned the automotive profession and Eilis, with the help of designer Kara Kull, dreamed up the shop's cafe. The two services were brought together and…voilá…cars and coffee, done differently!
