Music Director Alasdair Neale recently announced the Marin Symphony’s 58th season; an eclectic program which includes something for everyone on each and every program. Featured are masterworks by Brahms, Mozart and Beethoven; two Magnum Opus commissions – Mithra by Behzad Ranjbaran and a - world premiere by composer Avner Dornan; romantic classics by Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Rachmaninoff; a work by local composer Nathaniel Stookey and Bernstein’s popular Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Also announced this season is the inaugural concert of our new First Fusion series. This benefit concert will feature members of the former Grateful Dead in collaboration with the Marin Symphony.
