Description

This is a truly unique and large chess set molded and cast from students' self-portrait busts. The busts were sculpted by each student as a self-representation in clay, then molded and faithfully reproduced as chess pieces. Each artist has engraved their name onto the back of their bust. Pieces comes with interchangable pedestals and hats so that any bust can be made into any piece in the set. The King stands 6.25" high, giving the set impressive stature and heft. The whole set comes with an official Staunton 21" tournament chess board of walnut and maple. A unique keepsake to be enjoyed and cherished for years to come.
