Lake Union Crew: Learn to Row 4 Week Class

The water stretches out before you calm and clear. You stare straight ahead, responsible for nothing except following the person in front of you. Your body adjusts to the rhythm of the boat and you hear the undeniably beautiful sound of the oars moving through the water. Bubbles rush from underneath the smooth hull as the speed of the boat increases with every unified stroke. You realize that for this hour and a half you are able to do nothing but row, and you are in paradise.

Well maybe not right away, but for those who started rowing through our Learn to Row program and fell in love with the sport, this is now a familiar scene.  Whatever your reason for wanting to row, Lake Union Crew offers a positive and unique Learn to Row experience that you are not likely to forget. 

The Basics
Learn to Row programs are offered year round and are a 4 week commitment that involves:

• Fun on the water, rain or shine


• An experience like no other


• State of the art indoor rowing tank and equipment


• World class coaching


• Sessions 3 times a week (first 3 classes mandatory)


• On land, in tank and on water instruction
