Description
One of America's Castles featured on the A&E Network, this 42 room mansion was built in 1890. From 1920 to 1962, the mansion housed the Superior Children's Home and Refuge.
Tour the world's last whaleback designed by Captain Alexander McDougall. Hear the ship's whistle and see the original 1896 steam engine as you tour from pilot house
to cargo holds.
Old Firehouse and Police Museum
Built in 1898, the Old Firehouse originally housed five horse drawn rigs, including the city's first steamer. Enjoy a unique look at historic fire fighting equipment and police memorabilia in the last of Superior's nineteenth century fire halls!

Unless otherwise specified, items will be available for pick-up Tuesday, November 23, and Wednesday, November 24, 2010, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the office of Barb Carr, State Farm Insurance, 401 West Michigan Street, Duluth, #(218) 728-0154. If you need to arrange for an alternative pick-up time, please contact Barb at the phone number listed.
If you do not live in the Duluth/Superior area, or are otherwise unable to pick up the items, we will ship them to you. However, because this is a fundraising event, you will be required to pay the shipping and handling fee. Thank you for your understanding.
