The League for Yiddish publishes three issues of the magazine Afn Shvel a year. Started in 1941, it is committed to the promotion and preservation of Yiddish language and culture, with articles of Yiddish cultural, literary, linguistic and communal interest. Each issue has extensive glossaries to help newer readers.
