This hand-embroidered, lined zipper-closed purse 3" deep, 4" wide, is from Sunbula, www.sunbula.org, a nonprofit fair- trade organization that supports economic self-help of Palestinian artisans through the promotion of traditional handicrafts.

It was created by the Idna Ladies Association, an income-generation project started in 1998 in a small village near Hebron.
