Description

From the series Illuminated Verses from The Song of Songs by Marcia Falk

Museum-quality fine-art print of Marcia Falk's graphite and colored-pencil drawing Red Tulip, in an edition limited to 18. The text on the drawing appears in Hebrew and English. The English reads: “How fine / are you, my lover, / what joy / we have together.” It is taken from Marcia’s translation, The Song of Songs: Love Lyrics from the Bible, about which Isaac Bashevis Singer said: "I thought until now that the Song of Songs could not be translated better than the King James Version. Marcia Falk has done an exceptional poetic job." Matted, 11"x14".
